I apply machine learning methods to multi-modal cancer data to help us better understand the variables driving an individual’s disease

While many therapies for cancer enter clinical development, very few see FDA approval. My work seeks to understand the latent biology underlying cancer by combining information-rich genomic and clinically-available histologic data to identify better biomarkers for treatment response.
