The Big Picture

With the identification of relevant biological systems in the Jabri Lab and the ability to learn and develop unique approaches to study epigenetic modifications in the He Lab, I am in a unique position to uncover fundamental roles of active demethylation, mediated by Tet family of proteins, in immune regulation and development.
